The Wanda Mountain Boys are excited to announce the arrival of their latest studio recording, "No Turning Back".  The Missouri based quartet's CD includes 10 songs and  is available at their concert venues as well as on their website store.

The Mid America Gospel Music Association held it's 20th Annual Gospel Music Jubilee on Nov. 1 and 2 at the Centene Center in Farmington, MO.

The association took time to honor two individuals with the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Friday night's recipient was songwriter, musician and journalist, Barbara Huffman.  Barbara is one of the top songwriters in all of Gospel Music and also a contributing writer for the leading Gospel Music publication, Singing News.

Saturday evening, the association honored Bruce Turnbough.  Bruce is currently the lead vocalist with Gateway Sound and has had a long musical career which includes working with the Mid South Boys and with several Branson entertainment shows.

Wayne Hughes (tenor), Chris Judy (lead), Derrick Newman (baritone), and Walter Hayes (bass) have a smooth blend and a strong desire to carry the Gospel wherever the Lord leads them.

The board of directors of the Mid America Gospel Music Association is pleased to announce the addition of New Legacy to their roster of performing artists. New Legacy comes to us from Bloomington, IL. 

New Legacy features a Bluegrass style  of Gospel Music and is lead by group manager, Nathan Gates.  He is joined by wife, Rachel, his father, Craig along with Robert Hauser and his daughter Kemedy. 

New Legacy's roots run deep in Gospel Music as Nathan, Rachel and Craig traveled for many years with the Gates Family.  This is a new chapter in the family's music ministry.

We're excited to announce the addition of Derrick Newman to The Ascension Quartet. Derrick will be filling the baritone position. 

Derrick began singing as a young boy in the church where he grew up in Sikeston, MO. Upon moving to Lebanon, MO in 1998, he continued to serve God by singing specials and being a member of their local church choir. Derrick enjoys playing the piano and singing with his children. He currently resides in Lebanon, MO with his wife, Kelly, and four children. 

We welcome Derrick, Kelly, and their family to The Ascension Quartet family.

Longtime MAGMA members “Gospel Messengers” are excited to share their first major success on the national stage. The month of May saw a great convention song “I Walk With Jesus Each Day” become the # 57 song in all of gospel music on The Singing News radio play charts. The studio cut is available on: Itunes, CdBaby, Amazon, and gospelmessengersministry.org. This song was arranged by Dennis and Daniel with the latter completing his first album-length studio appearance on the bass guitar! 

Each member of Gospel Messengers is thrilled with the song’s reach and grateful for it’s nationwide impact. More so than the gift, we thank the Giver who not only gave his life as a ransom for sin, rose from the grave to give his sacrifice power, but does indeed walk with us daily! The question becomes: Will we walk with Him? This message goes out with many thanks to members of MAGMA who have encouraged us through the years and a hope for mutual prayer as we attempt to lift up the name of Jesus through our respective ministries.
